On April 13, 2024, employees of HAPLAST Group, a leading manufacturer and exporter of plastic and biodegradable packaging, came together to participate in an environmental cleanup campaign at Hoan Kiem Lake, a famous landmark in the capital city of Hanoi. The event received enthusiastic participation from all the company’s staff, aligning with the group’s direction: “Green Packaging For Green Future”
All Happers, clad in matching green t-shirts emblazoned with the company logo, arrived at the lakefront armed with gloves, garbage bags, and a determination to make a difference. With the sun shining overhead, we set out to tackle the litter that had accumulated around the lake’s perimeter, a testament to the city’s bustling activity.
As we worked diligently, picking up discarded plastic bottles, food wrappers, and other debris, our sense of camaraderie grew stronger. Laughter and conversation filled the air, as coworkers bonded over a shared mission to protect the environment.
Passersby and tourists visiting the lake couldn’t help but take notice of Happers’ efforts. Many stopped to applaud and offer words of encouragement, impressed by the sight of a company taking proactive steps to preserve the beauty of their city. Some even joined in, eager to lend a helping hand and be part of the collective endeavor.
Throughout the day, all Happers worked tirelessly, our determination unwavering despite the heat and physical exertion. By the time we finished, the lakefront was transformed, the once litter-strewn shore now pristine and litter-free. With smiles of satisfaction, we gathered for a group photo, proud of our contribution to a cleaner, greener future.
As we headed home, tired but fulfilled, all Happers knew that our actions had made a difference. Through our collective effort, we not only cleaned up a beloved landmark but also inspired others to take action in their own communities. As we looked towards the future, all Happers were filled with hope, knowing that together, we could create a world where sustainability and environmental stewardship were top priorities.
