Position:QA – QC Manager

1.Job Description
- Establish and maintain quality standards, inspection procedures, and implementation guidelines to ensure products meet quality requirements.
- Monitor and control the production process, from raw materials to final products.
- Collaborate with relevant departments (production, engineering, warehouse) to ensure all production processes comply with quality standards.
- Assign tasks, supervise, and evaluate the performance of QA/QC staff.
- Train and guide the QC team on inspection methods, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and process improvement in quality control.
- Develop, enhance, and update quality management systems (ISO, HACCP, BRC) to ensure compliance with international standards.
- Conduct internal audits, prepare for customer and regulatory inspections.
- Analyze root causes of quality issues and propose corrective and preventive measures.
- Collect data, analyze, and prepare reports on product quality, defect rates, and the effectiveness of quality control processes.
- Recommend continuous improvement measures to enhance production efficiency and reduce defect rates.
- Report directly to the Board of Directors on quality status and issues requiring resolution.
- Work with the sales and customer service teams to address quality-related customer complaints.
- Ensure customer-specific requirements and standards are met as per agreements.
- Manage, inspect, and ensure all quality inspection equipment operates correctly and is regularly maintained.
2.Job Requirements
- Gender: Male/Female
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality Management, Chemistry, or related fields.
- Experience: At least 5 years in QA/QC, with 2-3 years in QA/QC management within the plastic packaging or related manufacturing industry.
- Audit Experience: Knowledgeable and experienced in organizing and participating in internal and customer audits.
- Quality Management Systems: Familiarity with international quality standards such as ISO 9001, HACCP, BRC, or other relevant standards in the plastic packaging industry.
- Product Knowledge: Understanding of plastic packaging technical requirements, materials, product properties, and manufacturing processes.
- Quality Control Skills: Ability to establish QC processes, ensuring compliance from raw materials to final products.
- Problem-Solving & Analytical Skills: Ability to detect, investigate, and resolve quality issues, identifying root causes and implementing corrective actions.
- Measurement & Testing Knowledge: Proficiency in quality testing methods and equipment (e.g., durability, thickness, adhesion, color testing) for plastic packaging.
- Quality Documentation Management: Ability to develop and manage quality documentation, including SOPs, quality inspection guidelines, and records.
- Leadership Skills: Ability to manage and oversee the QA/QC team, assign tasks, and supervise team members.
- Logical and Systematic Thinking: Capable of establishing scientific and efficient quality management processes.
- Communication & Collaboration Skills: Ability to work with related departments (production, sales, warehouse, operations) to maintain and improve product quality.
- Reporting Skills: Ability to analyze data and compile quality reports for management.
- Preference: Candidates with experience in plastic manufacturing companies.
