Position: R&D Manager

1.Job Description

Develop product research and development plans in line with the company’s orientation and strategy.
Organize the search for new ideas related to product diversification and quality improvement.
Explore new technologies to propose solutions for product research and quality enhancement.
Conduct research and trial production of new products according to the company’s objectives.
Improve and refine technological processes to optimize production conditions.
Monitor, supervise, and expedite the implementation of production and sample products.
Oversee customer engagement or collaborate with the Business Division to gather product evaluation insights and propose necessary improvements.
Manage and propose solutions for R&D projects related to new and improved products.
Review and update quality standards, product specifications, and production processes.
Direct and manage all activities of the R&D department to ensure assigned objectives are met.
Establish the organizational structure and define the functions and responsibilities of the R&D department.
Report on business activities weekly, monthly, and quarterly.
Perform other tasks as assigned by the Executive Board.

2.Job Requirements

Bachelor’s degree or higher in Chemical Technology, Plastic Chemistry, or related fields.
At least 5 years of experience in R&D and production of plastic chemical products, with a minimum of 3 years in a managerial position.
Knowledge of chemical and plastic industry standards.
Strong understanding of production processes, quality control, and product improvement.
Agile and flexible in handling tasks, with logical and systematic thinking.
Ability to work independently, proactively, and creatively.
Strong skills in task management, presentation, and data analysis.
Meticulous, careful, honest, able to work under high pressure, and proactive in work.
Eager to learn and willing to improve.
Proficient in MS Office.
